I always thought those hard and endless excercises made the ninjas..flying lessons...grabbing lessons and all..
Well, Szélső Fa, all that's true. Its also true that you can be a ninja and not even wear a mask; just look at Naruto or Ju-Bei. However, you can't deny the fact that the ninja mask is a time honored part of being a ninja. You learn to wear the mask way before you make your first kill. You wear the mask as the ancient swordmaster crafts your katana and tells you the ancient tales of your ninja clan. You wear the mask even on those incredibly rare occasions when you don't plan to kill anyone at all.
A lot of ninjas would argue with me on this point, but in many ways a ninja's mask is even more a part of being a ninja than killing people. And I think we can all agree that's a pretty damn significant part of being a ninja.
